Krauss-Maffei Wegmann has performed the opening of the new building complex in Brazil

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) has performed the opening of the new building complex at KMW do Brasil Sistemas de Defesa Ltda in Santa Maria, Brazil.

A production and service center has been erected on the 18 hectare site occupied by the KMW do Brasil Sistemas de Defesa Ltda subsidiary since its foundation in 2011.

Its primary focus is the support to Leopard 1A5BR main battle tanks, the Gepard 1A2 self-propelled twin-35mm anti-aircraft gun system and simulators fielded by the Brazilian Army.
