US military aid to Ukraine resumes

U.S. military assistance to Ukraine has resumed, with shipments of American weaponry once again flowing through Poland’s Jasionka logistics hub, according to Polish Deputy Defense Minister Zalewski.

The minister confirmed the development in a post on social media, stating, “Transporty amerykańskiego uzbrojenia z POLLOGHAB w Jasionce na Ukrainę ponownie ruszyły” (American arms shipments from POLLOGHAB in Jasionka to Ukraine have resumed).

The announcement follows weeks of uncertainty surrounding the continuation of U.S. military support to Kyiv. The resumption of aid comes as Ukraine remains engaged in intense combat along its front lines and seeks to sustain its defense against Russian advances.

Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, also confirmed the restoration of U.S. security assistance. He noted that the renewed flow of aid includes vital military hardware and munitions, which are crucial for sustaining Ukraine’s battlefield operations.

The breakthrough occurred during recent negotiations in Saudi Arabia, where Ukrainian representatives expressed readiness to implement a 30-day ceasefire, provided Russia adheres to the same conditions. In response, U.S. officials announced that Washington would lift its temporary pause on military assistance and intelligence-sharing with Ukraine.

In addition to the resumption of arms deliveries, American aerospace company Maxar Technologies has restored access for Ukrainian users to the Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery (GEGD) program. This service provides high-resolution commercial satellite imagery, which is essential for reconnaissance and operational planning.

Sources familiar with the matter told “Militarnyi” that restoring Ukraine’s access to satellite data will significantly enhance its ability to track Russian troop movements and assess battlefield conditions. The return of this capability represents an important step in reinforcing Ukraine’s intelligence and surveillance efforts.

The reinstatement of U.S. military aid and intelligence-sharing marks a critical moment in Ukraine’s ongoing defense efforts.
