- Valkyrie Enterprises received a five-year, $48 million contract to provide engineering support for U.S. Navy combat systems at NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity.
- The contract covers AEGIS, ZUMWALT, Integrated Combat Systems, and C6ISR engineering and integration services supporting fleet operations.
Valkyrie Enterprises announced on February 13, 2026, that it has received a five-year, $48 million contract to provide engineering services and technical support for multiple U.S. Navy combat systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA).
According to the company, the contract covers engineering and support work across unit-level combat systems, the AEGIS Combat System, ZUMWALT-class systems, Integrated Combat Systems (ICS), and future Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Cybersecurity, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities.
The work will support fleet and shore-based operational requirements tied to naval readiness and combat system integration.
The award continues a partnership between NSWCDD DNA and Valkyrie Enterprises that has been in place for the past five years. As noted by the company, the agreement includes engineering, software and hardware integration, cybersecurity engineering, configuration management, material management, and product integration support for naval platforms and associated systems.
“Supporting our Navy’s fleet with engineering, installation, and technical support ensures our warfighters are equipped to face any adversary,” said Nicholas Delgado, Senior Vice President at Valkyrie Enterprises. “This award is not only a win for Valkyrie but also for our warfighters as we provide innovative solutions that allow them to complete their mission. We look forward to supporting NSWCDD-DNA for another five years.”
Valkyrie Enterprises said the contract expands its operational presence at NSWCDD DNA and increases its role supporting Navy combat system stakeholders. The company will deliver engineering and logistics solutions intended to sustain and improve integrated naval combat capabilities across multiple platforms.
NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity specializes in force-level integrated engineering solutions, mission-critical control systems, and testing and training technologies used by the U.S. Navy. These systems support Maritime Domain Awareness operations and provide technical infrastructure for both deployed fleet units and shore-based command activities.
The AEGIS Combat System referenced in the contract is a core naval air and missile defense architecture used aboard U.S. Navy cruisers and destroyers. ZUMWALT-class systems refer to the integrated combat and mission systems installed on the Navy’s DDG-1000 destroyers, designed around advanced sensors, automation, and networked combat operations. Integrated Combat Systems combine sensors, weapons, and command networks into a unified operational framework that enables coordinated maritime defense operations.
Engineering support contracts such as this one focus on maintaining system performance, ensuring compatibility between evolving hardware and software components, and supporting cybersecurity requirements as naval combat systems become increasingly network-dependent. The inclusion of C6ISR capabilities reflects ongoing integration of intelligence and communications functions within naval combat architectures.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division serves as a major technical authority for naval weapons systems engineering, testing, and lifecycle support. Its Dam Neck Activity provides engineering and operational solutions that connect fleet systems with command-and-control infrastructure used across the Navy.
