Russian Pacific Ocean Fleet ship detachment visit Thailand

Ship detachment of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy, including Admiral Tributs anti-submarine ship and Boris Butoma major tanker, has arrived in the Sattahip port, the Kingdom of Thailand.

The visit programme provides meetings of the ship detachment command leadership with the command staff of the Navy of Thailand and the city authorities.

The ship crews will replenish their storages with food and water. The servicemen will have a rest and see the sights.

The ship detachment has been operating in the sea since October. The ships carried out combat tasks in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, and took part in the Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2016.
