National Guard of Venezuela has recently acquired counter-riot equipment valued at $ 28.7 million

The National Guard of Venezuela, fourth military component of the National Armed Forces, has recently acquired counter-riot equipment valued at $ 28.7 million.

Equipment comprise thousands of anti-trauma clothing or personal protective equipment (popularly known as Robocop) and specialized vehicles, including Chinese made armored 4×4 VN4, water cannon WCT-1 and armored truck ABV-1.

NORINCO WCT-1 Anti-riot Water Cannon Truck has effective ability to disperse the riot crowd. As one of the most important deterrent in mass riot control operation, this non-lethal weapon integrated a lot of advanced systems and equipment.

The NORINCO VN-4 is a multi-role light armoured personnel carrier that can used for police forces, armored troops, peacekeeping and anti-terrorism. The VN-4 is produced in China and is manufactured by China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO).
