Kingdom of Jordan looks to buy Volat series military vehicles  from the Belarus Company MZKT.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has visited VOLAT stand at the international defense and security exhibition Eurosatory 2016, which took place in Paris between 13-17 June.

The younger brother of His Majesty King Abdullah II was accompanied by the representatives of the French Ministry of Defense and VOLAT agent in Jordan “Act Consulting and Trading”. VOLAT General Director Igor Letov made a presentation of VOLAT manufacturing capabilities for important guest and demonstrated to His Royal Highness vehicles at the stand.

At the Eurosatory 2016 VOLAT exhibited the recently designed tactical trucks from the newest MZKT-6001 series: MZKT-500200, -600103, -600203 and light-armored vehicle MZKT-490100.

MZKT-500200, with the wheel drive 4×4, strengthened frame and platform for operation in the conditions of cross-country and off-roads, has a platform length 6000 mm and the curb vehicle weight 6,400 kg.

MZKT-600103 (6×6) and MZKT-600203 (8×8) with Caterpillar С13 engine, Allison 4500SP automatic transmission and the curb vehicle weight 14000 and 17,000 kg accordingly are the newest tactical vehicles from the MZKT-6001 series.

A light-armored vehicle MZKT-490100 with the wheel drive 4×4, automatic transmission and the gross vehicle weight 11,000 kg was presented to the world for the first time. It was designed as a base product for specialized tactical vehicles development and can be used for all types of roads as APC, C2, reconnaissance, military police, logistics and ambulance vehicle.

MZKT was set up in Minsk in 1954 when Belarus was part of the Soviet Union and specializes in making heavy off-road vehicles, especially military trucks.
