Defence Blog Submission GuidelinesHow can I send a story ?
How to submit a press release or a guest post? How do I become a contributing writer? How to submit an article to Defence Blog?Â
We receive many questions like that each day. That’s why we decided to make short submission guideline for you.
SUBMIT A PRESS RELEASE OR A GUEST POST
We expect prospective authors to have familiarized themselves with our website and to know that we focus on the military community and abroad including military vehicles and equipment, breaking news, international defense news and more.
We do not advertise weapons, knives or hazardous substances. We do not distribute unverified information or incitement to violence.
If you’d like to suggest a press release for us to cover please send us an e-mail with text and photo (minimum of 1200px wide) to [email protected]
We aim to read all of your emails but due to the numbers we receive each day it is not always possible to reply to everyone individually.
You can also try:
Twitter: “Tweet” at our main @Defence_blog account
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/defencenewsblog
SUBMIT A PRESS RELEASE AS OUR PATRON
If you are our Patron on the Patreon service, then you will also be able to influence the editorial board by suggesting new topics or submit your press release if it matches our format and does not violate the law.
We will publish such a press release absolutely free of charge in the this section with the “Article from our patron” label.
HOW CAN I SEND A STORY SUGGESTION?
We seek original ideas and tips, opinions, news on topics of international defense and security – anything you think might be relevant for Defence Blog readers!
We understand and respect that you may want to remain anonymous. We’ve identified two ways to communicate with us as securely as possible. Of course, no system is 100% secure so ultimately please reach out at your own risk. We’ve tried to summarize each communication method below, however it is important you read the terms and privacy polices of any service you use.
If we use your material on our website we will publish your name as you provide it (unless you ask us not to) but we will never publish your email address.
Connect by emailing us at:
Email: [email protected]
If you’d like to communicate via email, there are options available to make sure the communication remains private. Mailvelope is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that allows you to use Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), an encryption technology. The extension will only encrypt the contents of the email you’re sending and will not encrypt metadata such as sender, recipient, subject or information about when the email was sent. This metadata will be available to your email provider.
