F-35 stealth fighter makes Canadian debut at Abbotsford air show

Two F-35A Lightning II stealth fighters from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, landed in Abbotsford, British Columbia, ahead of this weekend’s Abbotsford International Airshow.

The aircraft, operated by the 388th Fighter Wing out of Hill AFB, touched down just after 12:30 p.m. local time as media and aviation enthusiasts looked on.

The jets will be on static display throughout this weekend’s Abbotsford International Airshow.
