Czech Army buy «Titus» armored vehicle designed by Nexter & Tatra

Czech Army selected  Titus ultimate armored vehicle designed by Nexter & Tatra.

Czech Army is to order a further 42 armored vehicles mounted on a chassis by local manufacturer Tatra with deliveries scheduled for the years 2019 to 2023.

TITUS is mounted on a Tatra 6×6 chassis, coupled with an engine of 440Hp (550Hp in option) offering an exceptional mobility. Wrapped with an armored skin of last generation, from level 2 to level 4, TITUS is also protected against mines (4a/4b) and IEDs blasts (up to 150kg), by the original Nexter SAFEPRO design (hanged floor, energy absorbing seats…). RPG protection (PG Guard can be added). Thus, the units can be committed into the battlefield quickly and safely.

Also decided the price and technical parameters. While one šestikolové Titus will cost 23 million crowns including VAT.

Additionally, about Titus seems more interested. They use them not only have the French armed forces, but also the armies of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
