The Chinese Ministry of Defense gave the response that the anniversary was the worth celebrating but revealed no details of the celebration.

A PLA ground force general said, that the President Xi Jinping, who is also chairman of the Central Military Commission, was expected to inspect troops on PLA Day on August 1.
People’s Liberation Air Force Army already conducted rehearsals of military parade including the formation of five newest J-20 stealth fighter jets.

In the recent years the Chinese military experts and technicians have made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient in the arms sphere.

The last such large military parade was one commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of second world war.
