Beijing Yanjing Motor showcase new «Tigr» armored vehicle produced in China under license, in China vehicles also named YJ2080. China presents new «Tigr» armored vehicle at the Military and Civilian Integration Expo in Beijing.

China  placed an order for 10 Matadors in 2010 – these vehicles are being produced in China under license from the Russian Arzamas Machine-building Plant OJSC.   In late 2008, “Rosoboronexport” signed a new contract with Beijing Yanjing Motor Co. the supply of a further 10 armored vehicles SPM-2 (GAZ-2330-36) “Tiger” as a finished product, and 90 in the form of kits for assembly.

Earlier, the two contracts in China 110 armored cars “Tiger” was delivered in 2008-2010, of which 95 cars were assembled in China by screwdriver assembly under Russian license.

The GAZ Tigr (Russian: Тигр and English: Tiger) is a Russian 4×4, multipurpose, all-terrain infantry mobility vehicle manufactured by GAZ, first delivered to the Russian Army in 2006. Primarily used by the Russian Federation’s armed forces, it is also used by numerous other countries and organizations.
