UAE’s firm unveils JENIAH unmanned combat aircraft

The Emirati defense conglomerate EDGE Group has unveiled its latest innovation in aerial warfare at IDEX 2025, introducing the JENIAH Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) prototype.

Developed by Edge subsidiary ADASI, the JENIAH UCAV is designed for high-speed, low-observable operations, expanding the capabilities of unmanned aerial systems in both land and maritime missions.

According to Edge Group, the JENIAH system boasts a cruising speed of up to Mach 0.7 and a maximum speed exceeding 1,000 km/h, making it one of the fastest UCAVs in its class. With an operational range designed for strategic engagements, it can carry a payload of up to 480 kg, enabling it to execute a wide array of mission profiles, from intelligence gathering to precision strikes on high-value targets.

The JENIAH UCAV is built to meet the increasing demand for high-speed unmanned combat solutions that enhance operational effectiveness while minimizing risk to personnel.
