Ukraine has successfully deployed its new indigenous “Palyanytsya” drone missile in combat for the first time.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the development during an Independence Day event on August 24, marking the debut of this cutting-edge weapon.
“Today, we witnessed the first successful combat use of our new weapon, the Palyanytsya drone missile. This is a completely new class of weaponry—our own Ukrainian innovation,” President Zelenskyy stated. He added, “This is our new method of delivering retribution to the aggressor.”
