TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE a.s. in partnership with General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS), has unveiled Pandur II armoured personal carrier with SAMSON MK II weapon station Remote controlled weapon station at IDET 2017.

The two companies are jointly developing a variety of APCs for the Czech army. During IDET 2017 exhibition was presented version of the Pandur II APC fitted with a remote weapon station Rafael Samson Mk II armed with one MK44-S 30mm automatic cannon and anti-tank missile launchers.

And for the vehicle itself, Samson Mk II RWS’s low-silhouette geometry enables the host platform’s surfaces to easily accommodate protective armor ranging from STANAG Level 1 to 4.

The Pandur II is a family of light armored vehicles designed and manufactured by the Austrian company, Steyr-Daimler-Puch, now a subdivision of General Dynamics European Land Combat Systems (GDELS).

The TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE is a new company sharing the same facility with TATRA TRUCKS in Kopřivnice, Czech Republic, specialized in production, overhauls and ugrades of mostly armoured and special vehicles for the Army of the Czech Republic as well as for export.
