US Army and Royal Thai Army in Hanuman Guardian 2016 exercise

The 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division of the US Army and 27th Cavalry Battalion, Cavalry Center of the Royal Thai Army joining as a reconnaissance cavalry team in responding the arm attack over the civilian evacuated from disaster in Exercise Hanuman Guardian 2016 in Thailand.

Hanuman Guardian 16 is an annual, bilateral army-to-army exercise hosted by the Royal Thai Army (RTA) with elements from U.S. Army Pacific atthe Royal Thai Army Cavalry Center in Saraburi, Thailand.

HG16 is designed to improve humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) capabilities and enhance mission readiness and interoperability between the two armies while improving the quality of life in rural areas.
