Ukraine develops new “Neptune” anti-ship missile complex

Ukrainian defense enterprises are working on the development of an anti-ship cruise missile complex in order to counter the threats coming from Black and Azov seas, that reported info-news.eu.

According to the “Narodna armiya” (People’s army) magazine of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the new system will be known as “Neptune”.

One of the leading defense enterprises of Ukraine specialized in the high-precision weaponry oversees the development of the news anti-ship missile complex.

The missile complex will be produced in two different variants: ship-based and coast-based. The cruise missile is designed to be launched from a container similar to the one used for C-300 surface-to-air missile complex.
