40 insurgents were killed as a result of an air strike conducted in Afghanistan

Taliban’s shadow governor for Badakhshan Qari Fasihudin and 40 insurgents were killed as a result of an air strike conducted in Baharak district of Badakhshan, the Afghan ministry of interior said in a press release on Friday night.

The attack was carried out at around 6:50 pm in an area located in Baharak district killing a key Taliban official and his companions, the press release read.
