Ukraine to supply T-72 main battle tank spare parts to a Europian country

SpetsTechnoExport company signed a contract for the delivery of T-72 main battle tanks’ spare parts to an unnamed Europian country, the Ukrainian state arms export agency announced on 23 November.

SFTE SpetsTechnoExport, which is a part of Ukrainian defence industry company UkrOboronProm, signed a contract with a state-owned European company for the supply of spare parts and components to T-72 main battle tanks during 2017-2019.

The contract was signed on the basis of the results of the participation of SpetsTechnoEksport in a public tender on the rules of the GPA (Government Procurement Agreement), which was held with the support of the Project Office of GPAinUA within the framework of the pilot project. The terms and conditions of the contract are not disclosed.

The tender was conducted in accordance with the European Directive Protection Directive 2009/81 / EC.
