Kia Motors Corporation to Showcase Up-Armored Reconnaissance KLTV vehicle at IDEX 2017

Kia Motors Corporation will participate in IDEX 2017  in Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates, which is the one of biggest international defense exhibitions in the world with 1,600 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors from 150 countries.

In this exhibition, Kia will make appearance of Up-Armored Reconnaissance KLTV vehicle which is reflecting the military vehicle development & production know-how and experience over 40 years with its state of the art technology, outstanding performance and integrated logistics supports.

Kia’s Light Tactical Vehicle (KLTV) is the Korean Armed Forces’ first-ever multipurpose tactical vehicle, developed with a modular system that enables various versions including standard and long-wheel base along with armored and unarmored features.

The KLTV has already started production in June 2016, with wide range of versions for tactical commanding & reconnaissance, weapon installment, field supports, etc.

Its key feature includes cutting-edge technology and military purpose specifications such as Euro 5 diesel engine with 225 horse power,  8 speed automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive gear box, independent suspension, air conditioning, no spin differential, run-flat tire and electro-magnetic interference.
