Iraqi Army liberates Kubaysa in Anbar

The security committee of al-Anbar Council announced on Saturday that the Iraqi army and the Popular Mobilization Forces have liberated the town of Kubaysa from Takfiri ISIL terrorists.

Member of the committee, Rajeh Barakat said that the allied forces took full control of Kubaysa, adding that ISIL insurgents fled the area, Iraqi media reported.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi army and the PMF evacuated about 600 families who were taken by ISIL as hostages.
