Belarus to unveil new family of wheeled armored vehicles at MILEX-2017

The Belarusian defence company JSC “140 repair plant” to unveil its new family of wheeled armored vehicles at the 8-th International Exhibition of weapons and military equipment «MILEX – 2017», which will be held on 20–22 May, 2017 in Minsk.

During exhibition will be displayed the new «Cаyman» armoured vehicles. The Cаyman vehicle is intended for participating in reconnaissance and sabotage operations, patrolling and escorting columns, carrying out peacekeeping and police operations, conducting actions in emergency situations.

The cooling system allows to exploit  the machine at ambient temperatures up to  +50°C. Modern devices and sensors of domestic production allow controlling the parameters of all systems to ensure the work of a diesel engine. Also there is an opportunity to install an onboard information control system, which extends the opportunities on controlling the product units work, increases functional and ergonomic features of the crew positions; has a built-in navigation system.

The product is equipped with a light signal system for moving  on public roads, a  rearview camera, additional illumination devices. An all wheel drive (4*4), a high engine torque, an independent torsional-lever-type suspension and a centralized tire inflation system allows to move confidently across the rugged terrain.

Depending  on the demand of product and the region of supply there is an opportunity of product modernization, including the change of a kind of armament, filtering and ventilation unit, installation of the air conditioning system, change of means of communication etc.

The product on 90% consists of units and aggregates of a serially manufactured wheel techniques  for military use and components manufactured in Belarus.
