Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition starts in South Korea today

A six-day defence exhibition titled “ADEX 2017” was started at the Seoul Airport (Seoul Airbase) in the Republic of Korea Thursday on Sunday October 17 (today).

The Seoul ADEX is the largest, most comprehensive event of its kind in Northeast Asia, attracting aviation and aerospace professionals, key defense personnel, aviation enthusiasts and the general public alike.

More than 450 defence companies exhibited their products at the ADEX 2017 while 30 countries including the USA are participating in the exhibition. The U.S. dispatched F-22 Raptor and F-35 stealth fighter jets and B-1B Lancer strategic bomber to the air show.

The airshow portion of Seoul ADEX 17 is also a premier industry event showcasing the latest in aviation, aerospace and defense technology. In 2015, Seoul ADEX attracted 386 companies and organizations domestically and internationally from 32 countries.
