Ukrainian Army orders twenty new Dozor-B armoured personnel carriers

The Ukrainian Army has ordered additional twenty new Dozor-B armoured personnel carriers from UkrOboronProm concern.

Deliveries of the new batch of Dozor-B armoured personnel carriers will take place throughout 2017 and 2018. That was reported by diana-mihailova.livejournal.com.

The Dozor-B is a four-wheeled armoured personnel carrier manufactured by the Lvov facility (part of UkrOboronProm) and can be fitted with a variety of roof-mounted weapons ranging from an unprotected 12.7mm machine gun (MG) to a variety of remote controlled weapon stations (RCWSs), including some armed with missiles.

The Dozor-B is also used by special units of the armed forces (quick reaction forces and military police) to carry out reconnaissance, patrolling, and peace-keeping operations, as well as being used as the main transportation vehicle under combat conditions (including NBC environment).

In July 20, 2016 Ukrainian Armed Forces received first ten Dozor-B armoured personnel carriers.
