The 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces undergoes battalion tactical drills.
Servicemen worked out assault actions of aviation in favour of airborne forces. Reactive artillery fired on the enemy in the landing area. Simultaneously, combat vehicles and personnel of the airborne battalion dropped from Il-76 and An-26 airlifters.
After landing, during raids, the forces destroyed an imaginary enemy’s weaponry. Then battalion tactical group moved to the defined region.
The 25th Separate Dnipropetrovsk Airborne Brigade is a airborne formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. After elements surrendered 6 vehicles to pro-Russian separatists in the 2014 Sloviansk standoff, Acting President Oleksandr Turchynov announced the brigade would be disbanded. But this decision was canceled later on. Despite this the Brigade has taken an active role in the fighting in Eastern Ukraine.
