Ukraine shows off new “Verba” Multiple Launch Rocket System

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in the presentation of new and modernized samples of weapons, military equipment, automated missile and artillery fire control systems at the proving ground near Divychky village in Kyiv region.

During  the presentation  to showcase modernized “Verba” Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). The “Verba” modernized rocket launcher system is mounted on KrAZ 6×6 truck chassis and equipped with cabin for 5 people.

Fire control, aiming and even recharge are performed automatically from the cabin, without soldiers’ direct intervention. The weight of the new MLRS is nearly 20 tons, though “Verba” can increase the speed up to 85 km / h.
