Finland buys more XA-300 armored personnel carriers

The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command (FDFLOGCOM) will acquire 29 Patria XA-300, known popularly as Patria 6×6, Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs).

The additional vehicles, which come equipped with necessary support equipment and spares, represent a total investment of 36.5 million euros, including VAT.

The procurement follows an agreement made in the summer of 2023 between the Finnish Defence Forces and Patria, which initially covered 91 XA-300 vehicles. That deal also included an option to purchase up to 70 more vehicles. The first 41 of these were delivered between late 2023 and early 2024, and with this recent order of 29 units, Finland has now fully exercised its purchase option.
