The Armed Forces of Ukraine has received the next-generation laundry advanced systems for replacing ageing Soviet-design complexes.
The delivery, which was announced on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian presidential adviser Yuri Biryukov, is part of the Ukrainian army large-scale modernization program.
The washing and bath modules of the complex are mounted in two 20-foot containers on the basis of the Ukrainian KraZ-63221 (6×6 ) cross-country chassis with a trailer. The new laundry advanced systems meet modern hygienic and sanitary standards and allow servicemen on the front to wash, dry, pat their clothes and wash.
The main advantages of the system in mobility, the ability to provide autonomous tasks by small units at long distances, in the shortest possible time, on their own water reserves in all weather conditions and regardless of the time of year.
The new laundry advanced systems are designed to provide front-line combat units that serve in the East of Ukraine.
Complexes of a similar type using in the US Army, France, Germany, and Canada. Containerised field hygiene and laundry systems are an integral part of any army in the world, but earlier the Ukrainian army had a small number of systems of this type and they all did not meet modern army’s standards.
