Ukraine to upgrade Pakistan’s main battle tanks

Ukrainian State Company “Ukrspecexport” has been awarded a USD600 million contract to upgrade the Pakistan’s main battle tanks.

The parties achieved these agreements in Pakistan and Bukin Pavlo, Director General of the State Company “Ukrspecexport”, and Lieutenant General Syed Wajid Hussain, Chairman, Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), signed the Memorandum on Cooperation.

General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Mr. Oleg Gladkovskyi, First Deputy Secretary National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, and Mr Rana Tanveer Hussain, Pakistani Minister of Defence Production.

These agreements are related to tanks technical service and maintenance and modernization. Ukrainian defence industry companies will receive US$ 600 million order.
