Russian pilots of the Black Sea Fleet spent more than 5,500 hours in the air in 2016

In 2016, Russian pilots of the Black Sea Fleet spent more than 5,500 hours in the air. These results exceed the ones of the previous year by 1.5 times.

They took part in all exercises held by the Fleet, including the Caucasus 2016 command-and-staff exercise.

Crews of ship-based helicopters conducted combat duty onboard the Admiral Grigorovich newest frigate in the permanent formation of the Russian Navy.

A squadron of Su-30SM newest high-maneuverable multipurpose fighters was formed in 2016.
