Russian army seeks all terrain tracked carrier for service in the Arctic. At the international military-technical forum “Army 2015” the was first shown model of new «DT-BTR» twin chassis multi-purpose articulated tracked carrier for service in the Arctic.

The «DT-BTR» has been designed to give high protection, huge payload capacity and all terrain mobility in severe climatic conditions of the Arctic, Siberia and the Far East.

The combat weight is about 25 tons. The weight of the towed trailer – not less than 7 tonnes. The machine is capable of carrying 12 people. The maximum speed of 60 km / h on land and 6 km / h – on the water.
