Russia wants to buy 48 Su-35S Jet Fighter

The “Vedomosti” August 11, 2015 published an article by Alexei Nikolsky “Contract with the continuation”, which reported that the Ministry of Defense of Russia will sign an agreement on the purchase of a further 48 Su-35S opens on August 25 the Moscow MAKS-2015.

The amount of the contract with the Ministry of Defence of JSC “United Aircraft Corporation” (UAC) will be about 100 billion rubles.

The Sukhoi Su-35 is a designation for two separate, heavily upgraded derivatives of the Su-27 ‘Flanker’. They are single-seat, twin-engine, supermaneuverable multirole fighters, designed by Sukhoi and built by Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO). The Su-35 is also known as Super Flanker.

Both Su-35 models marketed to many countries, including Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and South Korea, but so far have not attracted any export orders. Sukhoi originally projected that it would export more than 160 units of the second modernized Su-35 worldwide.
