Russia conducts live fire exercises with S-400 Triumph in Buryatia

Russian anti-aircraft missile regiment conducts live fire exercises with S-400 Triumph in Buryatia.

“An anti-aircraft missile regiment from the Central Military District, which received the S-400 ‘Triumph’ system a year ago, has successfully carried out combat launches as part of a joint exercise between the air force and air defense forces at the Telemba training range in the Republic of Buryatia,” commander Col. Yaroslav Roshchupkin said Tuesday

A total of six missiles were launched, hitting several high speed targets which included the Kaban target missile, moving along a flat ballistic trajectory at a speed of 1,500 meters per second (4,000 feet per second) and at a height of 45 kilometers (28 miles).

Tuesday’s exercise was the first drill involving the S-400 system held in the CMD.
