Rheinmetall represents new 130mm L/51 tank gun for the  future generation of main battle tanks at Eurosatory 2016 international land and air-land Defence and Security exhibition.

The new 130mm L/51 tank gun: an independently developed demonstrator for the main armament of a future generation of main battle tanks.

According to Werner Kraemer, president of Rheinmetall Waffe Munition’s executive board, the new 130 mm gun should be in production by 2025.
