PLA Air Force Aviation Open Day held in Changchun

The Red Falcon Air Demonstration Team performs in the sky during the PLA Air Force Aviation Open Day in Changchun, capital city of northeast China’s Jilin Province, Sept. 2, 2016.

The open day aims to demonstrate the achievements of Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) air force and enhance the public awareness of aerospace safety. Some equipments of the PLA air force will be open to the public for the first time.

The Open Day aims to demonstrate the PLA Air Force achievements in transformation, effectively enhance the public awareness and responsibility of aerospace safety, and inspire the society to support the construction of the PLA Air Force.

Over 30 types of equipment will be open to the public. More than 40 sets of equipment including H-6K bomber, KJ-500 Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEW&C) aircraft, HQ-9 surface-to-air missile system and airborne infantry fighting vehicle will participate in the static display.
