The State Kyiv Design Bureau “Luch”, which is part of the State Concern “UkrOboronProm”, is under way for acceptance tests of its new Ingul portable rocket grenade launcher.

The new Ingul portable rocket grenade launcher designed to target lightly armored vehicles, field-type constructions (such as permanent fire position, earth-and-timber emplacement) as well as manpower located outdoors, in shelters, building of stone, bricks or concrete.

Use of a new electro-optical sight automates and simplifies gunner work, provides high accuracy of a hit at a maximum firing range. Firing range of portable propelled grenades ranges from 70 m to almost 2 km and the distance of direct shot reaches 600 m.

THE INGUL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Maximum firing range – 800m.
  • Effective firing range – 600m.
  • Minimum firing range – 70m.
  • Length – 1678mm.
  • The mass of grenades in the container – 11.4 kg.
  • Crew 1 or 2, depending on situation
  • Caliber – 107mm.

It is expected that in the near future a new Ingul portable rocket grenade launcher will be tested in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
