Captain Steffi De Rooze of the Directorate General Material Resources briefly presented some new features: “The operational concept has changed. Focusing previously on patient transport, the emphasis today is on care and stabilization of their condition. For this reason, and as an example, the left stretcher has been replaced by a storage space. A flexible cabinet can store equipment. Certain medicines must be kept at temperature, the installation includes a refrigerator as well as a heat drawer, etc. ”

Under enemy fire, they often risk their own lives. In its different ambulance versions, the DINGO 2 makes a vital contribution to the improvement of the protected transport of wounded persons.
