Through the participation in the Multinational Brigade, Lithuania and Poland together support Ukraine and help to implement NATO oriented approach, informed UKRINFORM agency Andrius Kubilius, a member of the Lithuanian Parliament.

“It is an extremely symbolic fact, that the Ukrainian military personnel conducts activities shoulder-to-shoulder along with the representatives of the armies of two NATO countries – Lithuania and Poland. Ukraine has got an opportunity to understand what Alliance standards mean. A long time ago Lithuania went through a similar path through a joint military unit with Denmark. In this regard, together with Poland we can support Ukraine” addressed Andrius Kubilius.

Earlier, Tomasz Szatkowski, Deputy Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland, underlined that LITPOLUKRBRIG deployment is not a distant prospect.
