Kazakhstan’s Armed Forces launched unannounced combat readiness inspection of troops

President Nursultan Nazarbayev has ordered an unannounced inspection of the combat readiness of Kazakhstan’s Armed Forces.

According to Defense Minister, particular attention will be paid to units of the air assault troops and Air Defense Forces of Kazakhstan Armed Forces and the stocks of weapons and military equipment in storage.

In total, about 5,000 servicemen, more than 500 pieces of armament and military hardware, and more than 20 aircraft are involved in the combat readiness inspection.

The inspection will last until November 11.
