In Mongolia start «Khaan Quest» military exercise

In Mongolia start «Khaan Quest» military exercise. “Khaan Quest” military exercise is going to take place on June 20 at training center of 311st unit of Mongolian Armed Forces. It started as a joint military exercise of Mongolian and American troops in 2003 and later starting from 2006 armed forces of other countries started to participate.

The purpose of exercise is to improve skills of troops for peacekeeping operations and develop cooperation between military forces of participating countries. Today “Khaan Quest” could become one of the 5 main activities organized to increase peacekeeping skills of Asian-Pacific countries.

This year, Mongolia, the United States of America, Russia, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Australia, Bangladesh, the Republic of Belarus, Canada, the Republic of India, the Republic of Indonesia, Japan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic Poland, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkey, Britain and Northern Ireland will take part in “Khaan Quest” military exercise.
