Dolph Lundgren tests new Caiman 4×4 armoured vehicle in Belarus

Dolph Lundgren, one of the most popular Hollywood actors, visited the historical and cultural complex «Stalin’s Line» in Belarus on 11 December.

As part of the tour of the premises the actor tested the latest Belarusian armored vehicle Caiman, the press service of the State Defense Industries Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

According to the source, the actor did not drive the car but took a passenger seat. “I like the armored vehicle that has been made here, in Belarus. It drives well and it definitely has a fine suspension,” the actor noted after the test drive.

The new Caiman vehicle was showed for the first time during a visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to the 140th Repair Plant  which has design and developed the new vehicle. The Company has designed the concept of the new vehicle in only four months, and in the near future a prototype of the vehicle will be tested.

The Caiman is modernized version of the Soviet-made wheeled reconnaissance vehicle BRDM-2. Caiman can be used by both force military units, special forces of police, and civil services like the Emergencies Ministry and foresters.

The vehicle can run at a maximum road speed of 110 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 1,000 km.
