Cold weather training with U.S. Marines during Exercise Forest Light in Japan

The Defense Video & Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS) just released some awesome photos of U.S. Marines training in cold weather conditions during recent Exercise Forest Light in Sekiyama, Japan.

Forest Light is a semi-annual, bilateral exercise between the III Marine Expeditionary Force and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and consists a command post exercise as well as field training events.

Forest Light is one of various bi-lateral training opportunities conducted by Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force and deployed U.S. Marine forces to demonstrate the enduring commitment by both countries to peace, stability and prosperity across the region.
