A Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS) B412 Griffin HT1 helicopter made a precautionary mountain top landing after an apparent technical fault prior to catching fire
There were 4 military personnel and 1 civilian in the aircraft plus 1 military on the mountain top. All 6 safe & unharmed.

All five people who were on board the training aircraft from RAF Valley on Anglesey have been reported safe and did not need hospital treatment. Â This was reported by www.bbc.com
Emergency services were called at about 13:45 BST to Yr Aran, a mountain peak on a ridge south of Snowdon. Walkers reported seeing 10ft-high (3m) flames.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene, along with a coastguard helicopter.
