Belarus’s infantry fighting vehicle crushes car in Grodno

The BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus crashes Volkswagen Polo near Grodno, the city in western Belarus.

More precisely, this was BMP-1KSh Command post and staff armoured vehicle based on the chassis of the BMP-1 tracked armoured infantry fighting vehicle.

The BMP-1 was the first mass-produced infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) of the Soviet Union. The BMP-1 has an all-welded hull and a three-man crew with the driver seated at the front left, the commander to his rear and the gunner at the turret. Combat weight about 14 tons.
