Azerbaijan is interested in highly accurate missiles of Ukrainian production

In the frameworks of International Exhibition of Defence Industry “ADEX-2016” in Baku the meeting between the leadership of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Republic and representatives of the State Concern “UkrOboronProm” was held.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Republic Tofih Rafiyev expressed his interest in the possibility of joint production of high-precision weapons, developed and manufactured by UKROBORONPROM (UOP) enterprises. Primarily, the points at issue are guided munitions and portable anti-tank missile systems.

It should be noted that light anti-tank missile system “Corsar” is represented at UOP stand. Small mass – less than 14 kg – and small size are the main features of the given light portable missile system. Despite this, “Corsair” fire-power is enough to destroy all existing types of armored vehicles. At the same time, modern laser guidance system is responsible for the accuracy of the shot.
