Indonesia unveils Turangga armoured personnel carrier at Indo Defence 2016

Indonesian company PT Tugas Anda has unveiled a new Turangga armoured personnel carrier at Indo Defence Expo & Forum 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The new armored vehicle is based on Ford 550 series chassis and developed to deploy various missions, peace keeping operations and convoy escort.

The vehicle offers superior protection levels up to Level B6 and can be configured with a range of weapons platform options. . The Turangga armoured personnel carrier  will be able to carry 10+2 personnel.

The Turangga  APC will weigh 8-9 tonnes, have a Ford V8-6.7L engine, and be able to reach speeds of up to 110 km/h on paved roads. The operating range of up to 800 km.
