Ukrainian Chief of General Staff visits Turkey

General of the Army of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, Chief of General Staff, Ukrainian Armed Forces, visited Turkey on February 15-17.

Ukrainian and Turkish counterparts discussed the issues of stability, peace and security in the Black sea region, other projects and initiatives, achieved agreements on the increase of training program for Ukrainian servicemen.

The Ukrainian delegation visited the Centre of Operations Command of the Armed Forces of Turkey, Command of Special Forces, and training tank division.

The military and political top officials of Turkey underlined the importance of dynamic development of the Turkish-Ukrainian relations, as well as expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support in the context of increase of operational capabilities of the Ukrainian army.
