Turkish Air Force’s fleet includes over 200 F-16 fighters

The Turkish Air Force’s fleet has 240 F-16 fighters and A-400M transport aircraft, Anadolu agency reported with reference to the Turkish Air Force March 12.

Currently, Turkey is upgrading a number of fighters. Besides F-16 fighters, the Turkish Air Force has 10 multi-purpose light fighters NF-5A 2000 and six similar aircraft NF-5B 2000,
as well as, 25 training aircraft, 20 Cougar helicopters and 11 – UH-1H aircraft.

Earlier it was reported that Turkey suspended the operation of F-4 “Phantom” fighters on March 12, 2015 after three crashes within the last two weeks.

Currently, the Turkish Air Force has 54 F-4 fighters.
