Russian long-range bombers target ISIS positions in the Deir ez-Zor province

On January 21, six Tu-22M3 long-range bombers carried out an aviation strike on ISIS terrorists’ objects in the Deir ez-Zor province.

The aircraft engaged base camps of the illegal armed groups, weaponry and munitions storages as well as concentrations of armored hardware and manpower.

According to the objective monitoring data, all assigned targets have been hit.

Su-30SM and Su-35S fighters covered the bombers.

All Russian aircraft came back to the airbases after performing assigned combat tasks.
