UkrOboronProm unveils new “Phantom” combat unmanned ground vehicle

The State Concern “Ukroboronprom” unveiled its locally developed new “Phantom”  combat unmanned ground vehicle.

The Phantom is a light tracked armoured vehicle which is fitted with an unmanned turret armed with one 12.7 mm machine gun. This combat unmanned ground vehicle can be fitted with full range of weapon station depending on customer requirements.

The Phantom is designed to perform a wide range of military missions in dangerous or hard-to-reach areas. It offers enhanced safety and operational effectiveness by keeping warfighters at a safe distance from enemy attack. The UGV is designed to provide remote reconnaissance, observation, target acquisition, communications relay, logistics support platform, rescue, fire-fighting, and medical evacuation (medevac).

The Phantom has an operational range of 20 km. The vehicle weighs 1000 kg and features a high carrying capacity – 350 kg. Its maximum speed is 38 km/h.
