Textron Systems Marine & Land Systems was awarded the delivery order from the U.S. Army TACOM to provide 55 Mobile Strike Force Vehicles (MSFVs) to the Afghanistan National Army’s (ANA) Defense and Security Forces.

According to the Textron Systems, the first vehicle deliveries are scheduled for 2018. Textron Systems also supports the ANA and its MSFVs with training, spares and logistics services.

The Mobile Strike Force Vehicle (MSFV) is a 4×4 armored vehicle developed by Textron Marine & Land Systems for the Afghanistan National Army (ANA), under the US Army’s MSFV programme.

The first batch of 18 MSFVs, consisting of three variants, were shipped to Afghanistan in November 2011. All three variations underwent rigorous tests at Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) prior to delivery. 689 MSFVs were delivered to the ANA between 2012 and 2015.
